Dinner: rice & panchan

I wanted to make a simple and refreshing dinner tonight to prepare for gorging on delicious July 4th BBQ tomorrow. Sometimes it feels nice to have some simple white rice and some small appetizing (or as the Chinese call it, kai wei) dishes to go with it.

I watched Wall-E last night and it’s my favorite Pixar movie so far. People have said that it’s as good as The Incredibles, but I think it’s an unfair comparison since they’re so different. While I liked The Incredibles, I liked Wall-E much more.
