- Israeli couscous cooked with mung bean and lentils.
- Mashed yam and rutabaga — I had planned to roast them, but let them parboil for too long.
- Roasted asparagus — I marinated these overnight in some ponzu and chopped garlic.

Mmm I haven’t had couscous in years. How do you ever make time to cook.. I wish I could do that. =P Do you always plan out your meals a day ahead so you can get groceries or do you just whip up something from whatever is in your fridge?

The BF and I usually plan our meals ahead by putting them in google calendar. That way, we know what groceries to buy, and what to look forward to for dinner in a couple of days.
But sometimes we get lazy and have “leftover surprise” from whatever is in the fridge.
