Israeli couscous cooked with mung bean and lentils.
Mashed yam and rutabaga — I had planned to roast them, but let them parboil for too long.

A few nights ago, the BF made a delicious fava bean and polenta soup. The dried fava beans took a long time to cook even though we soaked it all day. The fried pieces of polenta was what really made the soup delicious. They tasted like a fried version of Chinese tamale.
