Food.
Dinner tonight was salad. I usually hate salad because the salads you get in restaurant are boring with just lettuce and dressing. Lettuce seems like such a waste of chewing. I liked the salad I made tonight because it wasn’t just iceberg lettuce, but a mix of different salad greens.
I made dressing for [...]
On my trip to Santa Barbara, I remembered that I wanted a pair of Rainbow Sandals. What better place to get sandals than the beach town of Santa Barbara?
When I first heard about these sandals, I thought they were ridiculously overpriced. Forty-something dollars for a pair of flip-flops? Outrageous. Then, I started reading about how [...]

Things I Read.

Just Bento’s recipe for miso, tahini and nut paste for broiled or baked root vegetables sounded delicious and easy, so I gave it a try tonight. We had a leftover potato from soup the other night, which I sliced and baked before topping it with the paste and baking again.
I also made some with [...]

Knitty Witty.
I finally got my Ravelry invite. It took about two weeks. Now I can stare at people’s projects all day and look at yarn porn. I’m also using it to keep track of my works in progress. My favorite feature is the project queue. I can search by what type of [...]
