Dinner: salad & bread

Dinner tonight was salad. I usually hate salad because the salads you get in restaurant are boring with just lettuce and dressing. Lettuce seems like such a waste of chewing. I liked the salad I made tonight because it wasn’t just iceberg lettuce, but a mix of different salad greens.
I made dressing for the salad by mixing together: soy sauce, mirin, wasabi, rice vinegar, yuzu extract, and toasted sesame oil.
Also on the salad were a hard boiled egg, fried tofu sticks (frozen tofu defrosted and dredged in flour, sesame seeds, and some spices), chopped walnuts, avocado, and red onions.

I also attempted to bake a baguette tonight, but it came out weird. The inside was really moist, like all the other breads I try to bake and tasted really yeasty. It didn’t taste like a baguette, but it did taste good with margarine and jam.
