The BF made savory crepes last night for dinner. The filling was made of cremini mushrooms and walnuts in a vegan cream sauce and the sauce outside was a mix of tomato sauce of the vegan cream sauce.
For dessert, we had sweet crepes filled with pan-fried bananas.

Dinner tonight was polenta lasagna with portabellas and kale made with a recipe from FatFreeVegan. The kale came out exceptionally well tonight, but I don’t know why. It was just really tender and not bitter at all.

Dinner tonight was inspired by VeganYumYum’s Spicy Lemon Pepper Pasta with Broccoli. I omitted the sun dried tomatoes and used fresh chili pepper instead of dried crushed pepper flakes. I also used capellini because that’s my favorite long pasta and it’s what we had handy.

The pizza we made tonight is our best one yet. I think the baking stone actually helped with our crust’s crispiness. It was a bit too salty and crispy for me, but I think we’re getting better at making pizza dough.
The BF made cinnamon buns with real cinnamon.
