I’m so pissed off about the parking situation around our apartment. It’s bad enough we can’t park on the street we actually live on because it’s permit only and we don’t have permits*. But now, the perpendicular street, which we usually park on is also permit only. For blocks around, there’s permit only parking.

It’s some stupid scheme thought up by the city to collect our money from registering for parking permits. How stupid is this? Paying for the privilege of parking in front of your own home?!

*We don’t have permits because the department of transportation makes it IMPOSSIBLE to get them. Apparently, since whoever lived here last never revoked their permit, we have to submit proof that we live there. According to them, utility bills in our name and our lease doesn’t count as proof. We have to show them car registration too. My car is registered at my parents’ address because of insurance reasons, and Lolvegan’s registration was updated, but they never gave him an updated card or whatever. This is bullshit.
