I got this frame a few months ago but I’ve been waiting on various parts to come before I finally could build it. It was weird riding a track frame after riding a road bike frame for so long, but so far, I haven’t thrown myself off the bike yet.

The bike is a lot twitchier than my road bike. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or not, but sometimes it feels like I just have to think of going left or right and the bike will automagically go there.

• Eimei frame (a 54 I believe)
• Soma Everwear tires — Yes, the pink was what initially caught my eye.
• Mavic CXP22 Rims and formula hub — I got a great deal at $120 a wheelset from an online shop

• Diacomp clamp-on brake and lever — It was a bit expensive, but I figured it would be cheaper than going to the ER with a broken bone or two.
• Knog Bullfrog front light — complete with seizure-inducing flash mode
• Cinelli cork tape — Why yes, I do like pink.
• Sugino 75 bottom bracket and crankset (not seen)
• Crank Bros. Eggbeater pedals (also not seen)
