Pasta with Tomatoes and Baby Artichokes

This was a fast and simple dinner that we had last week. The tomatoes from the farmer’s market were sweet and ripe. I just diced them up, tossed them with some garlic, olive oil, torn up home-grown basil, salt and pepper. The baby artichokes were steamed in my bamboo steamer and were pretty good dipped in some of the tomato’s juice.
