An almost proud owner of a PSP

I went over to the Best Buy by my place this morning to finally pick up a new slim PSP. I had been waiting for this new redesign almost since the old PSP came out. I would rather have had a piano black one, but this silver Daxter bundle (comes with the Daxter game, 2 family guy UMDs, and a 1gig memory card) was a pretty good deal at $199. It was an even better deal at $169, which is what I got it for thanks to the cashier at Best Buy who let me price match a defunct Target ad. This was the first time I pricematched something so easily. I’d like to think it was my girlish charm that helped.
Unfortunately, when I got home and put in Jeanne D’ Arc (great game BTW), I noticed some weird specks on the screen. At first, I thought they were dead/stuck pixels (oh noes!) but I wiped away most of it with a cloth. There was still one black fleck that I couldn’t get rid of. It’s still under the clear screen of the PSP and there’s no way to get it off. I even tried shooting some canned air into the PSP but it didn’t move.
So the good news is that there’s no stuck or dead pixels on the PSP. The bad news is that there’s an annoying fleck of something that I can’t get rid of. I’m going to try and exchange it at Best Buy for another one tomorrow, but I’m worried that the next one I get will have dead pixels since that seems to be what people are complaining about the most. Is it better to have a PSP with just a fleck of dust that can only be seen when the screen has light colors on it, or is it better to have stuck pixels?

hey there,
about your psp, though i do feel the irk-ness about the fleck behind the screen and it oh-so every annoys you when you play, i guess its still better to leave it as it is.
a simple way would be, to treat it as a special mark so that you know this psp is yours truly.
let your friends who borrow your psp to play and they too find it irritating, hence you’ll get it back asap. :)
Cheers!
