I saw a road bike for sale on Craigslist that I was interested in, so I drove down to the seller’s house to check it out. Unfortunately, the bike I went down there to see was way too big for me. I couldn’t even get my leg over it. It would have been a fruitless drive, but I saw a shiny green bike by the wall that the guy was also selling. The shiny green bike is probably still too big for me, but I had to have it. The BF wanted it but no way was I letting him steal this bike from me!

The bike is definitely a lot faster than my hybrid bike and I was reluctant to strip all the gears and convert it into a roadbike, but I’m glad I did. Riding a fixed gear bike is fun! It’s kind of nice not having to worry about moving up and down a gear.

Now I’m debating whether or not I should put on white handlebar tape on the exposed metal parts of the handlebars.
