Finger Best Jake Anniversary

Signing off emails with ‘Best’ can be seen as a brush off to some people, according to the NY Times. Maybe that’s why people think I’m cold online. I usually don’t sign off with anything other than my name in personal e-mails, which I thought was the best way to do it since no one wants to waste eye-ball movement on superfluous words right? At work, I sign off with “Thanks!” because everything else from “Best Regards!” to “Cheers!” sounds too phony and happy.

I saw Jake Gyllenhaal (he’s so dreamy!) and Lance Armstrong at a restaurant by my house last week. I wonder if one of them lives around me. I guess the two of them have been getting chummy since Jake’s playing Lance in the Lance Armstrong movie. It was a shock seeing them there. I looked across the table at the next booth and was like, “Hey, that good looking guy looks familiar. Oh noes! It’s Jake Gyllenhaal!”

I cut my finger pretty well this weekend while slicing bread. I wasn’t paying attention and just sliced through the nail and almost took my fingertip off. Now it’s hanging on by a little flap and reminds me of Pacman opening his mouth. Lolvegan scared me into going to the ER, but all they did after making me wait for an hour and a half was glue the tip back on. I could have done that at home! I’m weary about ER now. If I had taken my whole finger off, it would have died or my bucket of ice would have melted before they could even see me. It wasn’t like the ER was that busy when I went in either.

Lolvegan got me a Wii game, Rayman Raving Rabbids, for our anniversary, awwww. I’m not sure how I feel about the game yet. At first, I liked it because it has bunnies, but now I hate the bunnies because they’re so annoying and they laugh at you everytime you lose. The whole game is a collection of mini-games, which makes it perfect for a relaxing, “Ah, I just got back from work, let’s play games!” game. Or so you would think. Some of the mini-games are too frustrating to be considered relaxing. Bunnies are A-Mazing, I’m looking at you! My favorite mini-games in there so far are the plunger shooting ones and the music/dancing ones.
