I had a really good (and expensive) pastrami sandwich today at Katz. It was so good, I almost finished the whole thing by myself and that’s saying a lot because it was huge. I had to order at the counter and the meat cutter/sandwich maker guy cut me a sample of the pastrami to taste. I tore off a piece of the sample to taste and told him it was fine, but he kept saying, “Eat more! Eat more!” and wouldn’t start making the sandwich till I ate more of the sample. It was odd having a stranger urge you to eat more meat while he stands there staring.

Then, to top off that, I had a White Castle cheeseburger! I would rank it up there with orgasms. It was that good. Now I’m sorry I didn’t take a bunch to go so I could have some later. I wish they’d open some on the West Coast. We should do a trade. An In-N-Out for a White Castle.

Oh yeah, I’m on vacation in New York till Sunday =)
