I went with W to watch Rocky Voltato at the Troubador last night (never been) and enjoyed myself, except for some idiotic dude-bras right behind us who wouldn’t shut up. They were pretty quiet at first, but good things never last long. They started talking obnoxiously loud about halfway through the show, when all the soft songs were playing. You’d think all the death-glares they got from audience members turning around would tip them off, but I think they were just being assholes and talking loudly on purpose. It’s during these times that I wish I was some giant 7 foot buff guy. That way, I can just stare down at them menacingly and make them wimper in fear.
