On Sunday, I went to the Leona valley to pick cherries. The weather was too warm to be comfortable and just standing in the shade made me break out in a sweat. The orchard we ended up going to wasn’t too crowded and even though there was only one rainer cherry tree left, there were plenty of cherries on that tree to pick. Next time I go, I think I’ll plan better and pick a day where it’s not scorching hot.
