I heard an advertisement on the radio about a new reality show called “Deal or No Deal” or something like that. The contestant gets a briefcase, but isn’t told exactly what’s in it. All he knows is that it might be $10,000 (or some other insane amount), or it might just be an old sock (or something useless like that). During the episode, a banker or some other guy offers to buy the briefcase off of him for $1,000. The contestant’s friends/family then try to convince him to take the $1,000 or to keep the briefcase for the chance of getting more money.
That reality show spawned the idea of another way better reality show in my head. It would be called ‘STD* or no STD!’ The contestant, a really awkward/ugly/dorky guy who will never in his lifetime (unless he pays for it) get laid by a hot chick is presented with an incredibly beautiful and attractive young lady. He can choose either to sleep with her or not. His friends/family try to sway him in either direction. The catch is, the hot young thing might have an STD, she might not. And for a season-finale twist: she might not even be a GIRL!
I think that would make for some interesting episodes at least.
* STD as in ’sexually transmitted disease’ not as in stdin and stdout.
That is the greatest show-concept I have heard in a while! I heard about the Deal/No-Deal thingie, so shouldn’t there be like a call from Paris Hilton or any other sleazy celebrity that may or may not have an STD to the contestant, offering to sleep with him halfway through the show?
That Deal-or-No-Deal show is awesome. Basically at the beginning of the show you get to pick 1 suitcase out of 26 that has some random amount of money from 1 penny to 1 mil. Then you choose the remaining cases to see which dollar amount you could possibly have. The banker calls in certain points to offer you some kind of deal for you to stop. The dollar amounts change depending on the amount of money left in the cases not opened. The more cases you choose, the more your bank offer grows. But if you knock out the highest value cases, your bank offer plummets. I get off on the fact that there are some greedy ass people out there that get absolutely crushed when they pick the wrong suitcase and instead of going home with 250k+, they have to blame their family for telling them to stay int he game and end up with 17k. Pure awesomeness
they have it over here already.. i want to see the hosts head asplode like the dude on gridlocks or whatever that head exploding thing is from >.
