DreamCast Woohoo!
I bought a used Dreamcast from EBgames the other day and it works perfectly! *cries* It didn’t come with a MU, so I picked one up with an extra controller this morning at the flea market for $4! Damn, I love a good deal.
So far, I started playing Jet Grind Radio (yeah, it’s kind of boring, but I love cel shading) and I have Powerstone 1&2 lined up for it. I have Space Channel 5 for PS2 already, so I’m not going to get that.
Does anyone know of any other good games for DC that I should try out? Yes, I also have Ikaruga.

Powerstone is cool, Shenmue 1 and 2 mandatory, Sonic Adventure 1 is the best fricking 3D platform game I’ve EVER played (though dodgy camera like all of them), and Rez, of course… :)
But, I have to admit, I like Jet Set Radio Future on the XBox better… Soul Calibur is still better on the DC than the later versions on the PS2… Virtua Tennis is fun for a while, Grandia II looks good, but I have yet to play beyond the first 5 minutes, and of course, ChuChu Rocket (though the GBA version has more levels). That’s it, apart from the Japanese games, like Sakura Wars (never played it, but I’ve seen some people freak out about it…)

Don’t play Grandia II. Past the first 5 minutes, the battles get so repetitive that I wanted to throw my computer out the window and burn my harddrive to ashes. If you like fighting games, I think Dreamcast did Marvel vs. Capcom 2 the best. The controller setup is almost made for this game.

theyve got iso’s that you can burn straight to cd, i think you have to use disc juggler or something if i remember correctly.
agreed on marvel vs capcom, soul caliber 1 is awesome too, the spawn game rocks in co-op mode, house of the dead is good if you get a cheap gun, hydrothunder, crazy taxi, and thats about my staple of games i switched between
you can also play all sorts of roms and divx movies on it too if youre good enough with google

!@#$% I loved Jet Grind Radio!!!! The dreamcast was too cool. I was a DOA girl too for it.
